LANDEGODE (SKS 120)

Unit description

Landegode is a unit built in 2012 for the owner of Torghatten Nord AS (one of the largest ferry operators in Norwegian coastal waters). The built-in ferry at the shipyard of Remontowa Shipbuilding SA from Gdansk is characterized by an ecological drive of LNG (liquefied natural gas).

The unit is characterized by a total length of 96 m and a width of 17.3 m with a gross tonnage of 5695 and a load capacity of 650 tons. The ferry can take 120 passenger cars and 390 passengers.

Prom was built under the supervision of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Norwegian Maritime Directorate (NMD). Landegode will sail on two routes after the Vestfjorden fjord, located between the north coast of Norway and the Lofoten Islands.
